Hi, I'm Meggie and this is my sister, Ginger. We want to wish you a Merry Christmas. I hope Santa brought us some pressies.. I think we've been good but sometimes I like to destroy Pompom's and Ginger likes to attack the recliner for no reason. But since we are cute, I hope Santa bring us pressies.

I am thankful for The Spice Girls :D

Our Thanksgiving was very nice. The girls got a taste of cooked turkey. Ginger loved it. She would probably eat anything. I'm always seeing her put something in her mouth and by time I get there.. she has eaten it. o.O Dec 5th will be the 3 month anniversary. :D The girls would have been with us for 3 months. So far all is good. No one is coughing and have colds. *crosses fingers* They have more shots coming up soon. Everyday it seems like they get bigger and bigger. Look how much they love each other. :D

So the other day I took the girls to the vet for a follow up. BTW. the girls are doing great! Meggie finally got over her cold. Tuesday she received 2 shots and 1 up the nose vaccine. It really took alot out of her. She was sleepy alot and not eating much and not playing but today she is back to normal. Ginger is doing great. She has her rabies shot and her distemper shot. She needs the rest of her vaccines. We go back in December for the rest. While at Petsmart I noticed they had a sale on their cat trees. 20% off, which is a goo deal. I went back Sunday and got one for them. They love it. Ginger loves sleeping at the top and Meggie loves to climb it like a monkey. Both are so cute up in their tree. Here are some pics. Enjoy. Princess Meggie and Queen Gingy

hi, so yes it's been awhile however, the girls are doing good. Seem like they are getting bigger everyday. Last week the girls had a follow-up appointment with the Vet. Gingy was cleared enough to receive her rabies shot. Meggie on the other hand is still battling her cold or atleast her congestion. So she is on the same meds for another week. :( They have another follow-up appointment this friday. So hopefully by then Meggie will be better although I'm serious doubting it. She is alittle bit better and not coughing as much or as congested but she still has it. It has not affected her eating or playing.

Vet News

Hi guys!

So friday was vet day and it was very hectic. This petsmart that I went to was sooo busy. I think we spent almost 2 hours there. They took various test of the girls and found that they are healthy besides the colds. The Vet prescribe Clavamox for both for a week. Also, we have to put the eye ointment in Ginger's eyes cause she started to have the gooy eyes which I only noticed while we were at the vet. They have a follow up appointment this friday. So hopefully they will get the rest of their shots then.

Ginger is easier to administer the meds too although she don't like it especially the eye ointment. Nutmeg on the other hand thinks you are trying to hurt her so bad. (little drama queen..lol) I somehow managed to do it by myself today since my Sis was sleep.

Not only I had to spend alot of money at the vet, which I don't mind but wow.. it's expensive, but I asked if they could trim their nails. It cost $11 bucks each just to trim. I was floored. I need to learn how to do this. o.O

Vet Day!

Hi guys. Sorry for not updating regularly. The girls are doing good. It's been 4 weeks now that we have adopted them. :D Meggie is still congested and coughing but still have her energy. Ginger has now started coughing and she's alittle congested. She's still eating alot! Meggie eats alittle and then acts like she is full. So not sure if that is okay. Ginger will eat the entire bowl of wet food if you let her.

I schedule for a vet appointment today at 4:15pm. So hopefully we can find out what's going on with them and get them better. : ) Stay tune!

Draco vs.. The Spice Girls

So I had to clean up Draco's tank today. Which is something I dont' enjoy. Right up there with washing the dishes. LOL.. So, usually Draco just roams around the house while I'm cleaning. Now, he has two kitties to either keep him company or terrorize him. LOL.. luckily there were no casualties. :D Actually, The Spice Girls made for good baby sitters.

Meggie!!!

Today I finally got a video of Nutmeg playing. Had to coerce her alittle. Earlier her and Ginger was playing so much but I was soo sleepy to get out the video camera. See how much they have grown. :D

9 days and counting

The Girls are doing great! Ginger is the princess of the house and meows at you when she wants something done. Like scoop out the litter box or fix me something to eat or play with me. She's also been doing those little chirps too when she plays or jumps up or down something. Soo cute! Here is a little Halloween photo I came up with as Ginger dressed up as a Witch. :D

Nutmeg is getting much better. She's still coughing and sneezing a bit but her eye looks 100% better and she seems to have her appetite back and is playing more. Such a cutie.. I think she likes my sister more than me. :p

Update

The girls did very well, although there were alot of meowing to the Cat Hospital and from. lol.. It was determined that Meggie has a cold. IARFMom provided some meds and showed me how to administer it. Hopefully, in the next coming days we will get Meggie back on her feet and running around in no time. :D

Microchip Day

So today I take the girls to Durham to get their microchip done. Ginger is doing great. Loves to play and chase Meggie around and loves to play on my bed. Meggie is doing okay. Although, I think she has a slight fever and still coughing. She seems to be alittle larthgetic and naps alot. She's been hiding under beds when we can't find her. I'm hoping the vet or maybe IARFMom can help me today with Meggie unless we need to take her to a vet. I hope she gets better. I really miss her energy and that sweet face. :)

The Spice Girls BFF's

When I first came across the Kitten cam, there were 4 little adorable kitties. Saffron, Ginger and Nutmeg seem to all come from the same litter and then there was their little friend Bosley. They all seem to get along very well and love to play. Bosley and Saffron were the first to get adopted. And of course recently, Ginger and Nutmeg. After Bosley and Saffy left, they were transfered from CB lovely home to IARFMom's home. Meggie and Gingy became friends with alot of other kitties at IARFMom house.

Day 2 of the Spice Girls

LOL.. The girls so far are doing fine. Meggie still winking at us. I'm guessing the medication for eye is causing this. My sis said she was sneezing alittle bit, but only when she is on the couch. Ginger sneezed one time when I was playing with her.

The Spice girls arrived today. :D IARFMom brought them alittle early which I was happy cause I was soo anxious to see them. First took some pics of them with their foster Mom. Then she took some pics of us. Then they explored the whole house. IARFMom, my Sis and I sat down and filled out all the paper work and talked about the kitties and answered any questions we have for her. Meanwhile, the kitties had managed to go upstairs and was running all over the place. Found that my bed was a awesome place to play on.

Played with some of the toys. They used the litter box which is awesome. Gingy had this blessed out expression on her face when she used the box. Meggie did alot of digging. LOL..

Currently they are checking out the place and Gingy gives us the occasional meow. :D

Excitement!!!

So today is the day that we get to see Nutmeg and Ginger here at our home. :D My sis and I have been waiting what seems like forever but it's only been a few weeks. lol.. We went to Petsmart today and bought more toys and things for the kitty. Last night I placed a order for more toys and things for the kitty with the e-certificates lovely given by Linda, Lynda and Mybaby11. :D Thanks soo much ladies. You guys are soo awesome.

Cat Toy... uh oh..

My sis and I was out shopping last night and found this cat toy. I don't think Draco will appreciate it this toy. lol...

The Spice Girls are getting spayed today. I hope they come through okay. I'm sure they will be sleepy kitties for the rest of the day.

I received two e-certificates from two awesome fans of the spice girls. Thanks sooooo much MyBaby11 and Linda. My sis and I and of course the kitties will enjoy the gift that you gave us. You guys rock!!! I will definitely post picks of the toys that I will get with your generous gift. Thank you soo much!!! :D

Introducing Nutmeg and Ginger

Nutmeg is on the left. Very cute little tabby. Ginger is the orange and white kitty. This is the second time I met them in person at a IAR Adoption event. They were extremely sleepy and didn't want to wake up and play. Meggie was soo cute looking all sleepy like and barely wanted to open her eyes. They curled up together and even Meggie cleaned Gingy face alittle and then curled up together to sleep. Sooo cute!!!

New first post

Well decided today that it would be a good idea if i created a blog site for the girls. I could post pics and video's here. Firstly gotta get used to it but it seem kinda simple. Now gotta figure out how to insert pic's and video's and make the blog alittle bit prettier for our favorite Spice Girls. :D
